I have been needing a little Thank You card for someone who gave our family the BEST blackberry pie I have ever tasted - and some excellent books!
The little kitty looking in through the windows reminds me of one of my brother's cats who loves to sit on the bannisters - even if they're three storeys up :-0!!
I punched out a little 'pine bough' with a Martha Stewart punch, and cut it into smaller pieces to make some greenery for the 'window box'. The little flowers are all made with french knots and floss. The windows are all mounted on 1/16" foam dots and the window box on 1/8" dots for a bit of depth to the design.
Thanks for stopping in - and thanks to the ladies at 2S4Y who let us play along with them!
I hope you are having a great evening - and are in for a glorious weekend!
(It looks like I have buds opening in the garden and before the weekend is over I'll get to 'smell the roses'!!! ;0)

Oh my word, this is adorable! I bet this is one of the most unique cards they are going to see for that sketch challenge, and those French knots! Wow, I thought they were beads, they look great!
Wonderful card! The colors are beautifully put together!
LOVE the card, and so does r5...
Roses are all in full bloom here - I have a "proper" English garden now.
Oh WOW! What a way to interpret a sketch!!!! I love the idea of using windows - is that cat from On My Couch?! The only reason I ask is because I stamped him in black too yesterday on comfy chair LOL! Keep your eyes peeled for him ;D

Girl this is gorgeous! I love the scene and every detail you have on it. You put a lot of thought into designing this and it is wonderful. That would make a beautiful framed piece of art work to hang on a wall or place on a table top. Seriously! Have a great weekend!
Great scene! Love this card and great job with the sketch.
Brilliant idea for that sketch! I especially like the french knot flowers! You should definitely be a winner for this!
