Christmas Tags and Gift Wrap

Poor Jenyfur who co-ordinates things for the Penny Black blog is completely and totally snowed under with no power at the moment :-0!

But as it turns out today she has managed to get a little power from a generator. Here are my projects that are up - for Jenyfur's challenge to make Tags and Gift Wrap ...

Ginger Tag

This little guy was a given for a tag don't you think ;0)! I really adore this image - it has so much volume! By colouring him - piecing the holly and punching a hole for some ribbon he really turned into a tag all by himself (and by switching out the icing and colours "he" can be a "she" in the twinkle of an eye :0)

Gift Bag

This is just a Walmart, brown paper bag that I added some details to. The background is stamped with Penny Black's "Snow Scroll" stamp, and the flower is "Christmas Star". The poinsettia is embossed with gold embossing powder and then painted with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist - lots of lovely shimmer here and a few pearls to finish it off!

This was one was made with the Hunkadorus in mind! i.e. - CAS! I'm loving all of the layered tags around blogland at the mo - but they really aren't for him ... :0)

Masculine Tag

LOL! I think he'll like it!

So there it is - there are more deets on the projects and supplies listed on the Penny Black blog today - and Carole also has a project posted - looooove her beautiful work! Mmmmmm!

Thanks for popping on by! Hope you're having a wonderful day that just gets better all the way through! (And hugs to Jenyfur - who probably isn't surfing at the mo - but I *AM* thinking of you!!)

Oh my! It's love at first gingerbread sight LOL! He's sooooo cute! Love the sparkles, the blingin' eyes, the paper pieced collar/holly - EVERYTHING! And this is from a gal that doesn't even 'do cute'!!!!
And of course - you're other projects are fabby too! Love how you've turned that bag into such elegant packaging and the tag is super CAS (great for guys, I agree!)

These are all so darling, but I'm really taken by that gorgeous poinsettia bag! I can't wait to dress up some "plain" gift bags of my own this year!

I love the gingerbread man tag. So cute. The gift bag is well decorated. I am sure the photo is not doing justice to the poinsettia. The onelayer tag is magical. Love your work Nerina!
