With every best wish for the most beautiful and joyous Hanukkah celebration!
The star was cut with a craft knife and then coated with gold foil. I scored the lines over the top of it when the foil had been applied.
Our family has just finished reading a synchronised account of 1st and 2nd Maccabees with the writings of Josephus and other historians of antiquity. Everyone's eyes were sparkling and their cheeks glowing as the reading went on! What an amazing epic surrounds this Festival! We were really blessed by our time learning about it!
I wish every joy to all those who are preparing to celebrate it!

Nerina, this is gorgeous! It reminds me of a tapestry, with the scalloped layer being the background. Love it!
This is so gorgeous Nerina! I know that Patty will be honored that you created this for her. I love the star you created. Isn't the history of Hanukkah amazing?
