Hellooooo Lovely People!

This is the last post I have scheduled...by this time I should be going completely nuts, not having been able to stamp or make a card for HOW LONG!!?? BoooHooooo!

You may recognise this card design - I made another version of it as a Personal Photo Challenge a while ago. This one is done in monochromatic colours...I was trying to get a more elegant feel..but don't know if it succeeded very well???

I used Ranger Distress "Tea Dye" ink to stamp the leaves on Kraft cardstock for this one....

.....and then highlighted some areas with Stickles. The sentiment (from Damask Designs) is embossed with gold embossing powder, the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.

I used a bit of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels to highlight the knitted texture and the butterfly, for some shimmery goodness :0)

Nice and twinkly - and it looks good next to the satin ribbon...some little Kaiser pearls were scattered throughout!

This is the card I gave my Hunkadorus for Valentine's Day this year! As some of you may know, he is a total Clean And Simple card person. So I had to do this his way....

I think, strictly speaking he would have preferred it without the hearts - but it WAS Valentines day! Heee, LOL! (Sorry about the photo - white and I don't do so well together in the photo department!)

He had SUCH a good laugh when he received this :0)

I used the 'rock 'n roll' technique to shade the peach from Papertrey's "Fruitful" stamp set. The sentiment is Dawn's Signature Greetings - I can never get enough of them!

Helloooooo Peeps. By this time I know I'll be WISHING like crazy that I was part of all the hum on the forum...getting ready for a new release......

I'm popping on a card today that was heavily inspired by Nichole Heady. I had actually wanted to submit this for the final GSS that Papertrey was holding in February...but life turned out otherwise. I think of Nichole when I see this stampset and these colours...

I used the Petal Power background on this card again....YUM - it's gorgeous!

Colouring in the odd flower like this is an idea I got from Sarah Martina - she used it in Papertrey's January Blog Hop - and it blew me away!

I stamped the dots in the background around the flower freehand, added Martha Stewart micro-beads in the flower centre and coloured the petals with prismacolor pencils. The flower centre was also accented with Stickles glitter glue and Ranger "Glossy Accents" was used on the petals.
