...embossed flowers :0)

I needed a card for someone who I knew would appreciate something very light, delicate and pretty and was really inspired by this beautiful card here.

I have been wondering about watercolouring with distress inks, and this was a real push to give it a go!

I don't have any watercolouring paper, but the Stampers Select seemed to be alright, so long as it wasn't completely drenched!

This friend has been an enormous blessing - and *such* an encouragement to me recently - so I hope this returns a little of that back to her again too!

Embossed Flowers.

With hours minutes and seconds left to go on the Embellish Countdown today ... I have a card :0)

Here was the gorgeous inspiration pic:

Lovely! And so very inspiring!

The challenge for me was to try and create something that didn't look like Christmas ... the kraft helped a lot!

Check out the polka dots :0) Good things those! *Wink*!

And a little deet shot (so you can see all my embossing powder 'dandruff', hee. I find when embossing with white on white, I never see all the little extras until rubbing ink over the top of them, when it's a bit late! Oh Well. Handmade.)
