CAS Valentine

Helloooo world of lovely Peoples :0)

It has been an age since I was here posting - but I discovered Pinterest in the meanwhile! (So much easier to click on other peoples gorgeous creations than sit and create your own - Ha!)

It hasn't been a case of not wanting to - but life sometimes just has different ideas from mine. And extended family haven't been at all well - we've had to do some travelling to visit - I must say, we've had some sadness there :0(

On a happy note ... this is the card which I'll be giving my totally CAS Hunkadorus for Valentine's Day. He's always joked that he "loves every colour - so long as it's white". OH so true in his case ...

Really, simple, but I think he'll get the message. The woodgrain debossing is meant to create some textural  interest without adding colour, in the background.

Valentine Deet

The gingham is 'me' in this card. I've always loved it - so it's meant to be a subtle mix of both of our tastes in one!

I hope that you have sweet Valentine's plans to share with the people you love!

ENJOY every minute - here's hoping that your day is *full* of  heartwarming hugs! :0)

Best wishes to you!

Stamps: Love and Marriage, Bitty Background Blocks, Love Lives Here (Papertrey Ink)
Debossing Plate: Woodgrain (Papertrey Ink)

I'm so happy to see you back, Nerina! Although I'm really sorry to hear that things haven't been so great with your extended family. Offering my hugs and thoughts to you.
You do realise that now you've discovered Pinterest you'll have to start limiting yourself to so many hours a day on it! So addictive!
Your CAS valentine is guy perfection! I bet your 'Hunkadorus' will love it (pun wasn't intended there btw!)

Good to "see" you Nerina! I am so sorry to hear of your extended family, prayers for you and yours!

This card is divine, and I got a good chuckle from your husband's comments! The white on white is always a winner!

So sorry to hear that things have not all been well with your family lately. I hope life will start to look up for all of you!
Darling CAS card for your hubby, and I love that you included a bit of "you" with the gingham. My hubs is funny--he doesn't like a lot of white space but doesn't like a fussy look either, so he just gets whatever I like!

Hi Nerina. So lovely how you combined "components" that represent both you and your husband in this beautiful card.
